Brooklyn rental agent / For apartment owners
Why work with Marc?
I’m Marc Shagalow. I grew up in Crown Heights, and I help Brooklyn owners get their apartments rented. I bring experience from the homes I’ve leased and keep working with interested renters after the showing. You’ll hear how people are responding and what I recommend next.
What I bring to your rental
Experience you can see.
Start with the apartments I’ve rented.
My work spans Brooklyn homes with very different layouts and price points. You can see the apartments, with recorded rents and dates, in my selected past rentals. The full rental archive lets you look further.
For your property, we’ll look at the closest examples and what makes yours different. I’ll explain the asking rent I recommend and the trade-offs if we decide to wait for a higher offer.
I keep the conversation moving.
Good photographs give someone a reason to look. I answer their questions and arrange showings, then follow up with renters who are interested.
If someone comes to me for another listing and your apartment fits their search, I’ll introduce it to them. That gives your apartment another way to reach people already looking for a home.
You’ll know where things stand.
I’ll share what I’m hearing after showings and explain any change I recommend. When an application comes in, I review the supporting documents and flag missing information.
You decide on the asking rent and whom to approve. I help negotiate the terms and carry the agreement through signing.
A good rental should work for both sides.
I want you to feel confident in your tenant and the tenant to feel at home. That starts with clear expectations about the apartment and the terms of the rental.
I’m direct about what’s realistic and stay involved when questions come up. You can read what clients have said about working with me.
Let’s talk about your apartment.
Send me the address and your timing. We’ll start with a 10-minute conversation about what your apartment could rent for and how I’d approach it.
